M-I-C-K-E-Y * M-O-U-S-E

Today Grace and I ventured to Disneyland just the two of us! We have never done that before! I have been nervous to try and do it alone because it can be overwhelming, even with help it can be. I am happy to say that we had an awesome day! It wasn't crowded, although I thought that it would be since Captain EO reopened today, and the weather was beautiful!!! We went on every ride in Fantasyland, a few we even went on twice! I love to see her face light up with the all the colors, sounds, and characters.

Speaking of characters, Grace showed me today that she knows who Mickey Mouse is!! When we pulled into the parking structure Grace kept saying " Me Me" and I didn't know what she was talking about. She calls her blanket a "Me" so I just figured that she was excited about it. Then when we got loaded up and were walking through the structure she kept saying it and I noticed that we had parked on the Mickey floor and wondered if she was talking about Mickey. Then when we were in line for the Tea Cups she started chanting it again. I turned around to see what she was looking at and noticed that she was pointing at these two little girls that both had Mickey Mouse sweat shirts on! She was totally calling out Mickey Mouse! I guess the Mickey Mouse Club House has really rubbed off on her!
