Poodys 1/2 Birthday

On Sunday my little man turned six months old! Time is flying by so fast and getting to watch two kids grow up and hit milestones is such an awesome experience. He is such an adorable BIG boy!! He went for his check up and weighed in at 19 lbs 8 oz and is 27 1/4 inches long. He is cleared for all baby foods so now he can finally get a taste of the good stuff! He is rolling over, jumping in his bouncer, and sitting up unsupported! He loves to suck on his fingers and since he discovered his toes he doesn't leave them alone. His fire read hair fell out like all kids do, and we weren't sure what color it was going to grow back. Over the last few weeks it has quickly started to grow back nice, and thick, and red! I would have been sad if he lost his red hair! It's not as bright as it use to be, but it's definitely got the red tint. This little boy steals your heart with his big blue eyes, chunky cheeks, and amazing huge toothless smile. When you are having a bad day, he can sure bring out a smile. To celebrate his half birthday my Sister, Grace and I took him to California Adventure because he hasn't been their yet. We went to see "Turtle Talk with Crush" and to watch the "Playhouse Disney" stage show. The kids laughed and bounced around while listening to all their favorite songs from their morning cartoons.

We wanted to end the day with ice cream because Grace had her first taste of ice cream from a place here, but they were closed!! Its one of the first things that I want to do the next trip we make there. I am so proud of my Sister and the job that she is doing raising my Nephew. He is such an awesome and happy kid and is loved so much. I am so excited for these next months and all that they are going to bring! Though having two kids mobile around the house under the age of two......this is going to be interesting!
