Using Utensils

For Christmas we got Grace some metal silverware so that we could teach her to use them on her own. This had been something that I have been dreading, because I am not looking forward to all the mess that comes along with little ones feeding themselves. Of course our first run at letting her feed herself was this pasta, soooo messy, but makes for perfect pictures. When we first handed them to her she beat them on her tray and then after showing her how to do it she picked up on it really fast. Obviously she doesn't do it perfectly, but she can manage to get it in her mouth. She had some trouble stabbing the noodles and with enough strength to make them stick on the fork so with a little help she fed herself the entire bowl. She continues to amaze us everyday!
